This episode is an intro to Educationeering.

In this episode, I share my education story. It’s different from most:

• • I never went to public school.
  • I attended a Mennonite School almost until the end of middle school.
  • Since then, I have been steadily growing toward a mindset of self-education.

Here’s the elevator pitch I completed as part of Praxis. It’s centered around education. This part of life has become a passion of mine, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me! Educationeering is part of that journey.

This project is me learning out loud. I’m documenting my process as a self-educator, and I’m loving the chance to learn the beauty of recording and content creation from the bottom up.

I’m also excited to learn from all the amazing people that come on the show. Each one has some amazing ideas, and I can’t wait to examine those ideas and learn with every conversation.

The program I am currently involved in is Praxis. This is an alternative to college. It’s a 6-month boot camp coupled with a 6-month apprenticeship in a fast-paced startup. So far, this program has been a key catalyst for my growth. I can’t wait to see how much I learn through the apprenticeship! Here is a link to the Praxis website.
