I’ve talked about nannying before, but not on a personal level.
Today I want to introduce you to my baby. Her name is Elise, and I have been active in her life since she first came into the church nursery at 2 months old.
Around that time, she started having tummy troubles and would cry unless someone was holding her. She fell asleep over my arm countless times. Often my shoulders were hurting by the time she left, but it was worth it.
Soon I was the only adult that Elise came to, other than Mommy and Daddy. In time, however, she got over her tummy issues and became more receptive to the world in general.
She’s almost one year old now. I’m going to have to move soon, and I won’t see her as often. But I am so grateful for this year with Elise Adriel.
Happy Birthday, baby girl!
